Deadly Crash in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (August 14, 2023) — A fatal, head-on car accident happened early Monday morning on La Mesa Road in Victorville.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the eastbound lanes around 2:34 a.m. on August 14th, between Amethyst Road and Wagon Wheel Drive, according to the Victor Valley News.
The drivers of a dark-colored Toyota minivan and a white four-door sedan were involved. It’s unknown what led up to the collision that left both vehicles with major front-end damage.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person with fatal injuries at the scene. They transported two other people to trauma centers for treatment of injuries.
Authorities closed down the roadway for four hours between Pacoima and Amethyst Roads to conduct an investigation into what happened.
The Victorville Police Department will determine fault for the crash.
