Fatal Car Accident West Rosamond Boulevard and 50th Street West

2-Vehicle Collision on Rosamond Blvd., in Kern County

ROSAMOND, Calif. (Dec. 14, 2023) — At least one person died Thursday in a car accident on West Rosamond Boulevard and 50th Street West in Kern County.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 2:06 p.m. on Dec. 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Toyota Tundra pickup truck towing a trailer and a silver Honda Accord were involved.

The two vehicles were blocking the roadway after the collision. It’s unknown at this time what caused the crash that left at least one person deceased on scene. The CHP report did not mention if anyone was injured or hospitalized as well.

Tow trucks responded to remove both vehicles from the intersection.

Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the fatal car accident on Rosamond Boulevard.
