Girl, 10, Killed in Collision at Desert Knoll Avenue and Twentynine Palms Highway Saturday
Twentynine Palms, CA (January 11, 2022) – On January 8, a deadly car accident occurred in the area of Desert Knoll Avenue and Twentynine Palms Highway.
The KESQ News reported a traffic collision took place at the busy intersection in Twentynine Palms. At this time, the exact number of cars involved in the wreck remained unknown.
Shortly after 3:40 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a juvenile passenger trapped underneath one of the vehicles. Given that, firefighters worked extensively to extricate the child.
According to the article published online, the 10-year-old victim was flown to Loma Linda Medical Center in critical condition. The girl later sadly succumbed to her injuries and died.
