At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Tehachapi Willow Springs and Backus

Bakersfield, CA (June 15, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Tehachapi Willow Springs and Backus Road Near Mojave.

The KGET News reported two vehicles, or possibly more, collided at the busy intersection near Mojave. Officials said the horrible crash took place Wednesday night. According to the article published online, the catastrophic incident took place at about 8:40 p.m.

Deadly Car Accident in Bakersfield

Responding emergency crews later arrived at the location and immediately rendered aid to the victims. After the evaluation, paramedics sadly pronounced one person deceased. The identity of the fatal victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
