1 Killed in Collision Near San Pablo Dam Road Exit
San Pablo, CA (February 25, 2023) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway Saturday, February 25.
The Mercury News reported a black Honda CRV rolled over for an unknown reason on I-80 near the San Pablo Dam Road exit. Officials said the crash triggered a multi-car pileup in the eastbound side of the freeway.
According to the article published online, the driver of the Honda stepped out of their car after the incident. While standing in the traffic lanes, another vehicle struck the man.
Deadly Car Accident on Interstate 80 in San Pablo
Our sources confirmed the male driver sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
At approximately 6 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the scene and found several other automobiles slammed into the overturned Honda. No immediate information was available on the conditions of other parties involved in the wreck.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly crash that happened on the Interstate 80 Freeway in San Pablo.
