Possible Hit-and-Run Collision Near Texas Street and Qualcomm Way Saturday
San Diego, CA (November 6, 2021) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 8, also known as Mission Valley Freeway, Saturday evening.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a blue SUV was traveling west on the freeway in the Mission Valley East area of San Diego.
Officials said the motorist pulled over on the right shoulder of the interstate; in the area near Texas Street and Qualcomm Way.

Per article published online, a passing vehicle struck a man that got out of the blue SUV. The collision resulted in fatal injuries to the victim. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Our sources mentioned first responders found a box of wine and other debris scattered on the freeway. However, there was not indication whether any drivers pulled over to aid the victim.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident on Mission Valley (8) Freeway happened.
