Woman Struck, Killed in Carlsbad Hit-and-run Crash
CARLSBAD, Calif. (March 17, 2023) — A fatal Carlsbad hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened Wednesday night on Palomar Airport Road near the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway.
The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. on March 15th, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.
The driver struck the woman and then sped away from the crash scene, police said.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help the injured woman, but sadly she died before she could be taken to a hospital. Authorities did not release the woman’s age or identity at this time.
Finally, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Palomar Airport Road remains under investigation.
