One Killed, Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Chatsworth
CHATSWORTH, Calif. (June 16, 2022) – A fatal Chatsworth crash happened Wednesday night on Winnetka Avenue near Lassen Street.
Adrian Marquez, 21, of Pacoima, was killed and two others were seriously injured in the multi-vehicle collision, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The Multi-vehicle collision occurred just before 8:40 p.m. near 9900 Winnetka Ave., fire officials said.
The LAFD responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported two people by ambulances to a hospital in serious condition. Firefighters rescued at least one of the surviving patients from inside their vehicle, the report said.
Also, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner released the name of the victim who died on its website.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash in Chatsworth on Winnetka Avenue.
