2-Vehicle Crash on 60 Freeway Near Mountain Ave
CHINO, Calif. (Nov. 22, 2021) — A fatal Chino crash on the 60 Freeway happened early Monday morning near Mountain Avenue.
The deadly collision took place just before 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported two motorists collided in the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway due to unknown circumstances.
Additionally, at least one person died in the crash on Monday morning, leading to the closure of all westbound lanes for roughly three hours.
Also, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner has not released the name of those who died in the Chino crash on the 60 Freeway.
Two lanes were reopened after the freeway closed for several hours, but traffic remained congested for the morning commute. By 7 a.m., all traffic lanes reopened, but investigators continue to work on the case to determine fault.
