
One Killed in Fiery Crash into Tow Truck
AGUA DULCE, Calif. (June 14, 2024) – One person died early Friday in a fiery, multi-vehicle collision on the Antelope (14) Freeway near Agua Dulce.
A driver reportedly crashed into the rear of a tow truck at around 1:21 a.m. on June 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The traffic accident occurred on the northbound State Route 14 at Escondido Canyon Road off-ram.
Paramedics responded and located one person with fatal injuries underneath the tow truck, the report said.
Meanwhile, a second person with injuries was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Also, authorities closed down traffic lanes on the northbound side of the freeway for several hours.
Finally, the investigation into what caused the collision on the Antelope 14 Freeway is ongoing.
