
2-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Dead, Four Injured
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2025) — A deadly crash happened Friday morning in Moreno Valley at Heacock Street and Ironwood Avenue.
One person died in the wreck and four people were treated for injuries following the 11 a.m. crash on Jan. 24th, according to MyNewsLA.
The two-vehicle Moreno Valley collision happened less than a mile north of the Moreno Valley 60 Freeway, according to a report by the Riverside County Fire Department.
Several fire engine crews and a paramedic team responded and located several occupants from one of the involved vehicles who were trapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters extricated the people and confirmed the death of one person at the scene. Meanwhile, they transported four people to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
Investigators closed down the intersection to piece together what happened and determine fault.
