Two-Vehicle Crash on Aerospace Highway (SR-14) in Lancaster

ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif., (Oct. 7, 2026) — A fatal collision happened Wednesday night on State Route 14, just south of West Avenue D in Lancaster.

The incident, involving a gray Honda Accord and a black Hyundai Sonata, occurred at approximately 7:53 p.m. on Oct. 7, 2026, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Both vehicles ended up in a roadside ditch following the crash, the CHP report said. The initial report categorized the incident as a traffic collision with unknown injuries, but it was later updated to a fatality. The coroner was notified, and a case number has been assigned, although the estimated time of arrival remains unknown.

The collision led to the closure of the No. 2 Lane for measurements as part of the ongoing investigation. CHP officials initially reported all lanes were open, but adjustments were made to facilitate the investigation.

Emergency personnel responded promptly, arriving on the scene shortly after the collision was reported. Despite their efforts, the severity of the crash resulted in a fatality, which remains under investigation by the authorities. Officials are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
