Bicycle Rider Killed in Hit-and-run Crash in Colton
COLTON, Calif. (June 7, 2022) — A man riding a bicycle died in a hit-and-run crash Monday morning at North Rancho Avenue and West Johnson Street in Colton.
The deadly crash occurred at 12:54 a.m. on June 6th near the Colton intersection, according to the San Bernardino Sun.
The 41-year-old man riding the bike suffered blunt force trauma in the crash, police said. The Colton Fire Department responded and treated the injured man on scene, but he died before they could transport him to a hospital.
The man’s identity has not been released at this time, authorities said.
There is no description of the suspect or vehicle involved in the crash. Investigators are working on piecing together what led to the crash.
