Fatal Covina Crash North Sunflower Avenue and East Badillo Street
1 Killed, Several Hurt in 2-Vehicle Car Accident at Covina Intersection
COVINA, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2023) — At least one person died in a Covina crash at North Sunflower Avenue and East Badillo Street.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 1:03 p.m. on Nov. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Mercedes sedan and a Ford Fusion were involved and both had major front-end damage.
The Los Angles County Fire Department responded and located several people trapped in the vehicles and one person unresponsive. They performed chest compressions on the person, but sadly they died on scene. It’s unknown how many were taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The case remains under investigation.
