2-Vehicle Collision on Angeles Crest Highway
WRIGHTWOOD, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2024) — At least one person died and two were injured in a crash on Angeles Crest Highway on Friday morning near Scrub Oak Drive near Wrightwood.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on State Route 2 at around 10:22 a.m. on Jan. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a silver Honda Civic and a silver pickup truck were involved. It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time.
Paramedics responded and rushed two people to a hospital with undisclosed injuries and one person apparently died at the scene.
Police issued a SigAlert due to the crash and tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
