5 Trapped in Vehicle Crash at Barstow and Millbrook Avenues
FRESNO, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2021) — A fatal crash at Barstow Avenue and Millbrook Avenue happened early Monday morning in Northeast Fresno.
A 15-year-old Fresno girl died and four others were injured in the solo-vehicle crash, according to Your Central Valley News.
All five people were pinned inside the backseat of a vehicle following the deadly 1 a.m. crash on Sept. 20th, police said.
Fresno police responded to the intersection at Barstow and Millbrook avenues.
Despite lifesaving efforts, one of the five died at the scene. Authorities did not release the age, gender and identity of the person.
Meanwhile, after the fatal crash on Barstow Avenue, paramedics transported the others by ambulance to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Additionally, there is a report that two other people ran away from the scene of the collision prior to the arrival of emergency workers.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the crash and whether there are going to be any arrests or citations.
