Fatal Crash Crenshaw Blvd. and Rosecrans Ave. in Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, Calif. (April 29, 2026) – One person died in a crash Tuesday afternoon at Crenshaw Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue in Hawthorne.

The deadly collision occurred at 1:35 p.m. on April 28th in the southbound lanes of Crenshaw Boulevard at Rosecrans Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Police responded and issued a SigAlert for both sides of Crenshaw Boulevard due to a heavy emergency response at the request of the Hawthorne Police Department.
