2-Vehicle Crash at Cypress Avenue and 13th Street
KING CITY, Calif. (Sept. 7, 2022) — A fatal two-vehicle crash in King City happened Tuesday night at Cypress Avenue and 13th Street.
The collision occurred about 8:37 p.m. on Sept. 6th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A black 2019 Acura overturned onto its side in a collision with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. One of the vehicles wound up submerged in a nearby pond. Emergency responders came to help those involved, but sadly at least one person died on scene.
Meanwhile, it appears that one person suffered a head injury in the crash. It’s unknown if an ambulance took the person to a hospital or not.
Police appeared to be looking for someone that left the scene of the crash and were reaching out to local hospitals for walk in patients with injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the fatal crash.
