Two Killed, One Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (June 15, 2022) — A fatal crash at D Street and Air Expressway Boulevard happened Tuesday morning, leaving two people dead and one injured in Victorville.
The deadly crash occurred about 5:46 a.m. on June 14, 2022, according to a press release by the Victorville Police Department.
Apparently, a driver and a passenger were traveling in a Chrysler Sebring westbound on D Street. Meanwhile, a tractor trailer truck was heading eastbound on D Street.

The Chrysler Sebring reportedly crossed over into opposing traffic lanes and collided head on with the truck. During the crash, the Chrysler Sebring was sent back into the westbound lane of D Street where it broadsided a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, police said.
The Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response responded to intersection. They located the three-vehicle traffic collision and found the unidentified driver and 17-year-old Colton boy riding as a passenger in the the Chrysler died at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner identified the teen on its website. One other person suffer undisclosed injuries in the crash.
The Victorville Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T) is heading up the investigation.
Authorities closed down both the west bound and east bound lanes of D Street for several hours.
