Fatal Crash Enterprise Street and Tulare Avenue in Tulare

2-Vehicle Collision at Tulare Intersection

TULARE, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2023) — A fatal crash happened Wednesday morning at Enterprise Street and Tulare Avenue in Tulare.

The traffic accident occurred at around 8 a.m. on Oct. 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol and ABC 30 News.

CHP officials reported a woman in a silver Saturn Ion was traveling northbound on Enterprise when she drove into the intersection and was hit by a Jeep, the report said.

The woman driving the Saturn sustained major injuries and died following the crash. Meanwhile, a child from one of the vehicles was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators believe the driver in the Jeep had the right of the way, however, it is unknown if the woman from the Saturn ran the stop sign for northbound traffic entering Tulare Avenue.

The case remains under investigation and the woman who died has not been identified.
