One Killed in Fountain Valley Car Accident
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2023) – One person died in a crash on Newhope Street and Heil Avenue in Fountain Valley near Mile Square Park.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection around 12:15 p.m., the Fountain Valley Police Department said.
One of the vehicles involved caught on fire after it crashed into a brick fence and the other was severely damaged and remained in the intersection where debris was strewn across the roadway, MyNewsLA reports.
It’s unknown what led up to the fatal Fountain Valley crash, but authorities are investigating to determine fault.
The name, age and gender of the person who died was not released, pending notification of their family members.
