Deadly Crash at Gilman Springs Road and Soboba Road
SAN JACINTO, Calif. (April 7, 2022) — A fatal crash happened Thursday morning at Gilman Springs Road and Soboba Road in San Jacinto.
The crash occurred about 9:51 a.m. on April 7th, just south of the Golden Era Golf Course, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck and a sedan collided due to unknown circumstances. The truck overturned onto its side during the crash.
One person in the car suffered major injuries, became trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. A second person suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics transported the person by ambulance to a hospital. A third person suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown if the truck driver suffered injuries in the crash.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
