One Killed in Crash on Harbor Freeway in Downtown
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2024) – A deadly, multi-vehicle crash happened Tuesday morning on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway, just south of the Hollywood (101) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.
The traffic collision occurred at 4:57 a.m. on Nov. 12th and prompted a SigAlert, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
There were four vehicles involved in the collision including a Toyota Sienna minivan that had sustained moderate front-end damage. A white vehicle was blacked out in the No. 1 lane and another with no lights on in the middle lane, the CHP report said.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and confirmed the death of one person at the crash scene. It’s unknown if others were injured.
The person’s identity will be released by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner after relatives are notified.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Harbor 110 Freeway.
