Fatal Crash Harbor (110) Freeway, Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles
One Killed in Three-Vehicle Collision on 110 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 25, 2025) — A fatal crash happened early Tuesday on the Harbor (110) Freeway near Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles.
The three-vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lanes around 12:53 a.m. on Feb. 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded and located the drivers of a white van, a Toyota Prius, and a third vehicle blocking traffic lanes including the HOV lane, the report said.
Paramedics confirmed the death of one person at the scene and police issued a SigAlert due to a projected two-hour closure of the two fast track lanes as well as the first three lanes of the freeway.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash and liability.
Finally, the victim’s name will be released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner after relatives are notified.
