WILDWOOD, Calif. (Jan. 31, 2023) — A fatal crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on Harrison Gulch Road at Wildwood Road between Wildwood and Platina.
The collision occurred about 2:33 p.m. on Jan. 31st, just north of the Harrison Gulch cemetery and ranger station, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There are few details provided in the CHP dispatch report.
CAL Fire responded with paramedics and discussed whether a medical helicopter was available to transport at least one person hurt in the crash. Also, at least one person died at the scene of the traffic accident and was trapped in the wreckage, but there are no further details.
The CHP report did not mention how many vehicles are involved.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Harrison Gulch Road.
