Fatal Tehachapi Crash on Highline Road
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2022) — A fatal crash on Highline Road happened Wednesday morning near Descanso Street in Tehachapi.
The collision involved two vehicles and happened about 2:31 a.m. on Nov. 23rd, in front of 21489 Highline Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported one of the vehicles went over a fence and overturned off the roadway.
One person was found unresponsive and died at the scene. The Kern County Sheriff Coroner responded and investigators with the Kern County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
The fatal crash on Highline Road remains under investigation.
