Deadly Collision on Highway 1
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (August 21, 2023) — A fatal crash happened Monday on Highway 1 and northbound Highway 17 in Santa Cruz.
The collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. on August 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There are few details about the traffic accident at this time.
Police officers are asking motorists to avoid the area and expect delays.
The case remains under investigation.
