72-Year-Old Pamela Rogers Killed, 2 Hospitalized
LUCERNE VALLEY, California (April 17, 2016) – A deadly 2-car collision was reported in the area of Highway 18 and High Road on Saturday evening, according to Victor Valley News. (map)
As per the article, deputies said a red Dodge pickup truck and a Toyota Prius collided at about 7:30 p.m. Both sustained with major damage following the crash.
The 72-year-old woman driving the Prius was pinned, and was then extricated from her vehicle. She was taken to St. Mary Medical Center where she died.
San Bernardino County Coroner’s office identified the victim as Pamela Sue Rogers, of Altadena.
According to Victor Valley News, two other people were transported to the same hospital with injuries ranging from minor to moderate degree.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
