Deadly Car Accident on State Route 180
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 6, 2023) — A fatal, two-vehicle crash on Highway 180 and North Hayes Avenue happened Wednesday morning in the Pratton area of Fresno County.
The collision occurred on the westbound SR-180 at around 6:58 a.m. on Dec. 6th, just west of the city of Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Stephen Liscano, 35, was reportedly driving southbound on Hayes Avenue in a Honda. His vehicle reportedly collided with a Hyundai at the intersection with Highway 180.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision that left one of the vehicles partially blocking westbound lanes and the other in nearby fields.
Fresno firefighters responded to help those involved, but sadly Stephen Liscano was confirmed deceased at the hospital following the accident. The second driver was treated for major, non-life threatening injuries.
Steve’s Tow and Custom Tow removed the two damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Highway 180 in Fresno County.
