Deadly, Head-on Crash in Saratoga Springs on Highway 20

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Calif. (April 6, 2022) — A fatal, head-on crash on Highway 20 in Saratoga Springs happened near Scotts Valley Road.

The two-vehicle collision occurred about 3:13 p.m. on April 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Chevrolet Silverado and a black Acura sedan collided due to unknown circumstances.

Police responded to the scene to help those involved and found the two vehicles with moderate to major damage. At least two people suffered injuries and authorities confirmed at least one of them died after the crash.

There are no further details about the collision.

Investigators are working to determine liability for the head-on crash on Highway 20.
