Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Highway 4 in Bay Point
BAY POINT, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2022) — A fatal Bay Point crash involving a pedestrian happened on Highway 4 early Wednesday morning in Contra Costa County.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred about 4 a.m. on Nov. 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol. At least one person died in the crash, but there are no specific details.
CHP Officers reported the crash in the eastbound lanes of Highway 4, just east of the San Marco Boulevard off-ramp.
One of the vehicles involved was a black 2017 Cadillac ATS, but there are no further details.
The collision closed down all lanes of the highway temporarily.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Bay Point crash on Highway 4.
