KERN COUNTY, Calif. (March 7, 2023) — A semi-truck and car collided in a fatal crash on Highway 58 at California City Boulevard at Edwards Airforce Base in Kern County.
The two-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes of SR-58 about 1:53 p.m. on March 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
A driver in a semi-truck reportedly T-boned a white Scion and a man was ejected from the vehicle into the roadway.
The report did not release the name, age or gender of the person who died in the crash on Highway 58.
Meanwhile, California City Fire Department was on the scene and possibly treated others hurt in the crash.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
