Fatal Head-on Crash on Highway 95 in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, California (June 29, 2022) – A fatal head-on crash involving a tow truck on Highway 95 occurred Tuesday night at Vidal Junction, just south of Needles.
The deadly crash happened at 9:53 p.m. on June 28th on Highway 95 near Highway 62, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials say a white Volkswagen sedan collided head-on with a white Riverside tow truck. It’s unknown at this time what led to the collision.
The Mojave Valley Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash, but sadly one person died at the scene. A second person was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
The CHP report does not release the identity of the deceased person.
An investigation into the fatal crash on Highway 95 is underway.
