One Killed, One Injured At Multi-Vehicle Crash
ORANGE, Calif. (June 10, 2024) — A deadly crash occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway in Orange, near the Garden Grove 22 Freeway.
At least one person died and another suffered injuries following the multi-vehicle collision. It happened on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Orange, the California Highway Patrol reports.
Someone reported the crash at around 3:35 a.m. on June 7th, 2024. Police responded to the northbound lanes of the freeway. The circumstances leading up to the crash are unknown at this time, police said.
Paramedics confirmed the death or at least one person at the scene. They also took at least one person to a hospital. The person’s identity was not released.
Finally, the California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation into the Orange crash on the 5 Freeway.
