Fatal Crash Interstate 5 Freeway, Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (April 27, 2026) — A solo-vehicle crash involved at least one fatality early Monday on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the Lincoln Avenue off-ramp in the Anaheim area.

The fatal collision occurred around 3:21 a.m. on April 27th, according to the CHP dispatch log.

A gray sedan reportedly crashed on the right side embankment of the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities reported there were two people trapped and unconscious inside the vehicle.

The traffic accident remains under investigation.
