Two Ejected in Fatal Rollover Crash
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 5, 2024) — At least one person is dead after a head-on crash Friday afternoon at Maher Road and Tamara Lane in Prunedale.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 4:34 p.m. on Feb. 2nd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP officials reported two people were ejected from one of the vehicles when it overturned during the traffic accident.
One of the vehicles also crashed into a power pole and knocked it out, the report said.
Paramedics responded to the crash scene to help at least one person who died and those injured in the traffic accident on Maher Road and Tamara Lane. At least one person was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Furthermore, police called Animal Control to take one dog from a vehicle, but it’s unknown if the animal was injured.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the fatal crash on Maher Road.
