Deadly Crash on Highway 4/Marsh Creek Road in Brentwood
BRENTWOOD, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2022) – A fatal car accident happened Wednesday morning on Marsh Creek Road also known as Highway 4, just east of Hoffman Lane in Brentwood.
The fatal collision occurred in the eastbound lanes about 5:20a.m. on Sept. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a semi-truck, a black SUV and a third vehicle collided and blocked the roadway in both directions. Two people became trapped in two of the vehicles and at least one person died. It’s unknown if anyone was injured or hospitalized following the wreck.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time.
Also, the age, gender and identity of the person or people who died will be released after family members are notified.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the car accident on Highway 4.
