2-Vehicle Collision in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2023) — At least one person died in a crash Friday morning at Mojave Drive and East Trail, in Victorville.
The traffic accident occurred at about 11:19 a.m., on October 6, 2023 due to unknown circumstances, according to the Victor Valley News Group.
The drivers of a gray pickup truck and a gray Chrysler PT Cruiser were involved.
Both the Victorville Fire Department, American Medical Response paramedics, and deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Victorville Station sent crews to help those involved.
The pickup truck had front-end damage and the Chrysler PT Cruiser had rear-end damage after the collision.
Paramedics provided life-saving measures, but unfortunately one person died at the scene. Meanwhile, a second person was injured and transported to a local hospital. The report did not state whether the injured were drivers or passengers, nor which vehicle or vehicles they were traveling in.
Police closed down several roads in the area to conduct an investigation.
Finally, the cause of the accident in Victorville, as well as liability, remain under investigation.
