Fatal Crash on Crown Valley Parkway at Country Way in Acton

Wendy Stinson, 60, Killed | Two Injured in Acton Car Accident

ACTON, Calif. (May 29, 2025) — Wendy Stinson, 60, of Acton, died Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Crown Valley Parkway in Acton.

The double rollover collision occurred around 4:35 p.m. on May 28th, at Country Way, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The woman was traveling as a passenger in a westbound 1994 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by 67-year-old Richard Allen Lewis, also of Acton. The man and woman were traveling on Country Way towards Crown Valley Parkway where there is a stop sign.

Fatal Rollover Crash on Crown Valley Parkway

The vehicle reportedly entered Crown Valley Parkway and was hit by an oncoming 2005 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven by Robert C. Gibilterra, 61, of Agua Dulce. Upon impact, both vehicles overturned, and Wendy Stinson suffered fatal injuries.

The two drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center.

Investigators are working to determine whether speed or other traffic violations were factors in the crash.
