Two Killed in Crash on Foothill (210) Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 25, 2022) – A fatal crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway happened early Wednesday morning between a semi-truck and a vehicle in Verdugo Hills.
The collision occurred about 12:08 a.m. on May 25th in the westbound lanes of the freeway at La Tuna Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two people became trapped underneath the vehicle following the crash with the big rig truck.
Additionally, a pedestrian was struck during the collision and became was unresponsive on the freeway.
The vehicles both ended up on the freeway’s right shoulder, the CHP said.
Meanwhile, three lanes of the freeway were closed due to the crash and subsequent investigation, authorities said.
Liability for the crash will be determined.
