Ashley Oldelk Killed, 3 Injured in Crash on Harbor Boulevard
VENTURA/OXNARD- According to KVTA News, a deadly head-on crash was reported Sunday, April 16th, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to three others.
The collision happened at some point before 11:00 a.m. on Harbor Boulevard. Ashley Oldelk, 32, of Port Hueneme, was traveling northbound in an unknown vehicle and veered into southbound lanes to pass northbound traffic. As she drove at high speeds she suddenly collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.
The initial crash started a series of collisions involving two additional vehicles.
Per the article, Ashley Oldelk suffered fatal injuries as she was pronounced at the scene.
Three others suffered injuries said to have been minor to moderate in degree. Their names were not released and their conditions and specific injuries have not been updated.
Meanwhile, California Highway Patrol officials are handling the investigation.
