2-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 139 at State Line Road
TULELAKE, Calif. (July 30, 2018) — Eight people from two vehicles were hospitalized after a fatal crash Sunday morning on state Route 139 at State Line Road at the California-Oregon border, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at 9:52 a.m. to the CHP. The report stated that a dark blue GMC sierra crashed into the left driver’s side of a bronze Toyota Sienna at the intersection with state Route 161. Both vehicles suffered major damage in the collision.
At least two people suffered major injuries in the crash and one person died of those injuries. The injured victims were transported north to Sky Lakes Medical Center in Oregon.
