Fatal Crash on Road 80, Near Avenue 336 in Visalia, Tulare County

VISALIA, Calif., (August 24, 2026) — A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred early Monday morning on Road 80 near Avenue 336 in Visalia.
The incident, reported at approximately 1:00 a.m. on August 24th, happened on southbound Road 80 just north of Avenue 336, according to the California Highway Patrol. Responding units from Tulare County Fire and EMS were dispatched with urgency, arriving at the scene from the Dinuba and Goshen stations.
Initial reports indicated a Chevrolet vehicle and a truck were involved in a collision. Emergency services had to shut down the southbound No. 2 lane to manage the situation and provide necessary medical aid. Despite the rapid response from EMS, the collision unfortunately resulted in a loss of life.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin. Investigators are piecing together the sequence of events leading to the collision and are seeking any witnesses who might have observed the incident or have relevant information.
