Deadly Rollover Crash Involving a Car and a Semi-Truck

VICTORVILLE, Calif., (May 20, 2026) — Authorities are reporting a fatal collision involving a black sedan and a semi-truck on Sheep Creek Road near Dos Palmas Road late Wednesday evening.

The accident was reported on May 20th at approximately 10:05 p.m. when a black sedan reportedly overturned multiple times after colliding with a semi-truck. The exact cause of the collision remains under investigation. The sedan ended up on its roof on the left shoulder of the road.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after the accident was reported. Sadly, the driver of the sedan did not survive the crash. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.

The semi-truck reportedly continued on after the collision, and law enforcement is in the process of confirming the details of the incident, including whether the semi-truck driver was aware of the crash.

A hard closure was subsequently set from Cholame Road to Chevoit Road to facilitate the investigation and recovery efforts. Police are actively seeking information from any witnesses who may have seen the incident or the semi-truck involved, which was described as a large white vehicle.

The collision and its circumstances remain under investigation by the local authorities. Witnesses or anyone with additional information are urged to come forward to assist in the ongoing inquiry.
