Man, 19, Killed, One Injured in Crash on Sherman Way
RESEDA, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2024) — Fernando Zambrano, 19, died, and another man is critically injured after a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Sherman Way in Reseda.
The collision occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 7th, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The LAFD responded and located two people trapped in the vehicles including the 19-year-old man who unfortunately died at the scene. He was later identified as Fernando Zambrano by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
Also, firefighters extricated the two trapped men and transported a 34-year-old man to the hospital in critical condition, the report said.
A third person who tried to free the trapped victims before police and paramedics arrived, was also taken to a hospital for treatment of a minor injury.
Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Sherman Way in Reseda.
