Deadly Collision on Orangethorpe Avenue
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 3, 2024) — There was a fatal crash Thursday afternoon on Orangethorpe Avenue, roughly a block east of North Lemon Street in Anaheim.
Police were alerted to the deadly crash near 580 E. Orangethorpe Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least one vehicle reportedly overturned and one person died in the collision, but there are no further details at this time.
At least one person died on scene, but it’s unknown how many were injured in the collision.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s crime lab and the OC coroner both responded to the crash scene and an investigation is underway.
