Vehicle Crashes into Motorist on Highway 138
LLANO, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2023) — A 40-year-old person possibly changing a tire was killed in a crash Wednesday at Pearblossom Highway 138 and 165th Street East in Llano.
The deadly crash occurred at around 4:07 p.m. on Nov. 1st, just west of the racetrack, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A driver reportedly crashed into a vehicle due to unknown circumstances. A black Ford Mustang and a black Cadillac Escalade SUV were involved.
Also, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and located one person with major injuries, but they died at the scene at 4:20 p.m., the report said.
Police closed down the eastbound lanes of State Route 138 to conduct an investigation into what happened.
Finally, the identity of the person who died will be released after relatives are notified.
