The crash involving two vehicles took place near the University of the Pacific.
As per the article, Stockton police said one man was killed in the accident. The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
It was not immediately known if the victim was a driver, passenger or pedestrian.
Meanwhile, KCRA reported that the fatal wreck occurred just after 8:30 p.m.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
