2-Vehicle Crash on Rosamond Boulevard
MOJAVE, Calif. (June 16, 2022) — A fatal crash at West Rosamond Boulevard and 46th Street West happened Wednesday night in the Mojave area.
The deadly, two-vehicle crash occurred about 10:43 p.m. on June 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported at least one person became trapped in the wreckage.
The Kern County Fire Department responded to extricate those pinned in a vehicle. At least one person suffered major injuries and died at the crash scene. The report did not provide the name, gender and age of the deceased person or persons.
Both lanes of the roadway became blocked by the two vehicles.
Tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
