1 Dead, 1 Injured in 10 Freeway Crash Near Fairfax Avenue
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2021) — A fatal crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway happened late Monday between Fairfax Avenue and Washington Boulevard.
One person died at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision reported about 11:37 p.m. on Sept. 27th, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A second person suffered injuries in the collision. Firefighters responded and extricated at least one person trapped in a vehicle following the crash. Also, paramedics with the LAFD transported the person to a hospital in unknown condition at this time.
Meanwhile, the CHP reported several vehicles collided, but there are no further details.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the fatal crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
